Bruce and Mike were at the bar, drunk.
"Wanna refill?" asked Mike.
Bruce grunted in response.
"Hey! 'Tender! Another round over here!" shouted Mike.
"Sorry bud. You two have already had several. I'm not aut-" started the man, but Bruce interrupted.
"I dun fuckin' care. Give us some fuckin' booze!"
There was a moment of silence, then the bartender said "No.".
"Bruiser, I'll take care of this." said Mike. He pulled out his hypnotic watch. The bartender just stared, mesmerized.
"Now listen, we gonna take this outside." said Mike.
"Allright. We will take this outside." said the bartended, almost robotically.
The two went out the main doors and stood by the front door."
"Now, what's your name?" asked Mike.
"Vincent." said the bartender.
"No it isn't. Your name is Luke, and it always has been."
"Yeah, you're right." said the bartender.
"How old are you?" asked Mike.
"32." said the bartender in response.
"Guess again. You're 24, same age as me and the Bruiser in there. Don't you remember us, we're your pals."
"Of course I remember you." said Luke.
"You go to the same college as us, and you love rugby. Now what fo you love?"
"I love rugby!"
"I can't hear you!"
"I LOVE RUGBY!" shouted Luke.
"Good. But you don't look the part. You're a pretty big guy. Your muscles are huge."
As Mike said that, Luke's muscles grew larger. He looked like he was part of the rugby team. He was part of the rugby team.
"Do you know why you're here, Luke?"
"I work here." replied Luke.
"Yes, you do. You work here part-time to pay off your student loan. And you give Bruce and I lots of discount beer."
"Yes. I work here part-time while going to college."
"Now, when I count to 3, you'll leave this trance, and you'll become permanantly like this. OK, Luke?" said Mike.
"OK."
"1...2...3!"
"Hey bro, why are we out here? I'm working now. I'll get you and Bruce some beer." said Luke.
