Samantha stormed out of the stable, wet and still buttoning her blouse. People walking near jumped out of the way as this girl with an attitude marched along.
Henry and Jeb knew she could make trouble. A plan had been used before on such as her, and the devilish attitudes of these businessmen was ready for all who came to play or see.
As Samantha boarded the ferry to take her to the mainland and entrance to the Park she folded up into a deck chair. Tears welled up at thoughts of her companions having triped over their faith and now stood a beasts for the devils plan.
A short half hour trip was like an eternity to the young lady. She had to group some men of the cloth and return to bring her friends away as men.
"What seems the trouble there young lady?" asked a tall and well muscled middleaged man.
Samantha exploded with the terrible story of her friends and those evil men who made people to beasts. The man was consoling and seemed to sooth her ragged nerves. As the ferry docked the man walked Samantha to her vehicle. As they parted he offered her a momento of their short time together.
A fob off his watchchain seemed so nice a gesture that Samantha could not refuse.
