“That all depends.” Yukiko said, sitting down right next to Naomi. “Do you want to remain a fairy or change back?”
Naomi thought for a moment. She looked at her wand; she gazed at her reflection in the mirror again; she remembered her flight, causing her wings to twitch; finally, she looked at Yukiko, her glittering golden hair, shimmering green dress and sparkling blue wings. Naomi leaned in close to Yukiko and planted a short, but passionate kiss on her lips. “I want you.” Naomi finally said. “I want to be with you, as a fairy, forever.”
Yukiko smiled “Like I said before, you seemed the type. One who possesses the heart of a fairy; and secretly yearns to be one; and be with one.” Yukiko tapped her wand on Naomi’s forehead again and a wave of light spread across her body. The paper that had Yukiko’s assignments on it appeared out of thin air and dissolved away. “Now, my job is finished.”
“Job?” Naomi asked.
“I desired to find true love, and was promised I’d receive it if I became a Love Fairy; thus, I took the job. Love Fairies are obligated to cheer up girls with broken hearts by granting them wishes. We’re duty bound by our task until the day comes when we find love of our own. I have finally found that with you; the fact that my assignment sheet disintegrated proves this. I am free to be with you, my true love. No more assignments; just you and me, forever.”
“I… had no idea. To willingly go into such servitude… wait, you really love me?”
“With all my heart; from the moment I first laid eyes on you.” Yukiko said as she leaned in and caressed Naomi's cheek with her hand. “And I could sense from the start that you felt the same way.”
“So, that explains your, um, ‘encouragement’; and why I completely forgot about Steven when I summoned you back. So, where do we go from here?”
