"...Jiro was in his Mommy's tummy again!"
Yukiko sighed. "As you wish, Naomi," she said as she tapped Jiro on the head with her wand. Niro's cries faded into echoes as he
shrank even smaller and disappeared. Naomi waited a minute or two, eager to see the results of her wish. Her face fell after some time,
and she turned a disappointed eye to Yukiko. "So did it work?" she asked impatiently. Yukiko merely nodded, disappointed in her client,
at almost exactly the same time the house alarm beeped. Someone had come home!
"Naomi, I'm home!"
Naomi immediately lit up and ran out of her room to greet who she knew to be her mother, home from work. She raced down the
upstairs hall and downstairs, two steps at a time. Sure enough, there was her mother, looking far younger - and to Naomi's delight, her
belly was huge!
"Hey, Mom!" Naomi called, barely containing her excitement. "How are you?"
"Hey there, Naomi!" her mom replied. "I'm doing fine..." She gasped, and her hand flew up to clutch at her stomach. "-And so is your
brother, he's really kicking today. Just three more months and you can see him...Could you help me with the groceries?"
"Sure, Mom!" Naomi went out into the garage to bring in the food, excitedly imagining how she would help bring up Jiro her way.
