Gabriel marched forth to the castle of the dark sorcerer Tramorn. It loomed in the sky before him, atop a steep hill. Surrounding it was a craggy landscape, barren of all manner of life. Gabriel had faced many dangers on his journey here, but he was finally going to stop Tramorn. He had been terrorizing the kingdom for years, but has recently started pushing his minions further and further into the more populated areas of the land. Gabriel was sent to put a stop to it, and he was bound by his honor code to finish the job. He started climbing the hill into the castle, his armored boots clanking with each step. What little armor he was given had been damaged or destroyed, leaving him with his tunic, boots, gloves, a small helmet and a shield. He paid it no mind, as he was determined to reach the end of his quest.
As he reached the massive doors to the castle, Gabriel was puzzled as to why there were no evil minions guarding the outside. Perhaps Tramorn did not expect anyone to get this far? Gabriel remained on his guard, watching for traps. Inside the castle, the main hall was completely deserted. He continued forward until he reached the throne room. Tramorn was sitting on the throne. He was tall and fairly muscular. He wore black armor, with a long purple cape. A hood covered most of his head, but Gabriel could see his glowing purple eyes and pale white skin. "Well, brave knight, it's good to see you. I've been a bit bored sending my monsters to ravage the land while I sit here, doing nothing." Gabriel drew his sword. "Dark mage, I am here to stop you. I am Sir Gabriel." "Well, Gabriel, you won't be able to stop me with an average sword. But you are welcome to try."
Tramorn drew his sword and started moving toward Gabriel. They clashed and found that, in swordplay, they were both evenly matched. Gabriel managed to wound Tramorn, and the dark lord realized that it was time to end the battle. "Now, I will stop you from being any threat to me!"
