Thankfully, the paramedics figured Trish was delirious and Sam was just humoring her. Sam made sure the changes she made to herself
and Trish here retroactive to keep things from devolving into a panic which was the last thing Trish needed.
It occurred to Sam, that by doing this, she was alienating her own parents from her, and making herself the child of Trish's parents. It made
made the bottom of her stomach feel like ice, that her parents were now strangers to her. And Trish's parents were now hers. It was cruel,
but Sam realized she had brought this on herself, and while it was cruel to do this to her own parents, it would have been even more cruel
to do this to Trish's kits whom Sam empty headed prank had brought into existence. She wondered if they were still some alien DNA
copying parasite. That would made things nice and black and white and thus she could -delete- them without her conscience being
bothered in the least, all she had to do was picture they weren't people, and poof she could do what she wanted.
Sadly, Sam found that her fingered refused to move to input that command into the remote. It wasn't some alien technology or ghost or
magic curse. Sam found she couldn't follow through on the nice, clean, sterile, easy, direct, simple solution. They arrived at the hospital
and Trish was wheeled in.
