Suddenly, gunshots rang out. Out of instinct, Mary and Cat were scared and ran to hide in the closet. They
closed and locked the door behind them--
"OBJECTION!" CardiaX yelled.
"Eek!" Cat screamed. "W-W-W-Will you stop that!"
"CardiaX, why did you do that?" I asked angrily
"That's not possible! How could they close the door? Cats don't have thumbs, doofus!" CardiaX protested.
"YOU'RE the doofus! I'm leaving how they locked the door to the imagination of the reader!" I explained. "Now
you just be quiet, Cardia! And not talk!"
Now where were we? Ah, yes. The girls sat there in the closet for what felt like hours.
"Mary, I'm scared," Cat said trembling in fear.
"Me too, Cat," Mary said.
"What are we going to do?"
A long pause between the two.
"Get some rest, Cat. I'll think of something."
"Is that just supposed to make me feel better?"
"Please, Cat. I'm just trying to help. You're not the only one who's scared, trust me. But just the fact that
you're makes me feel better."
"Mary... Thank you..."
------------------------------------------TO BE CONTINUED-----------------------------------------------------
"Wait, that's it?" asked Cardia.
"I can't think of anyway to continue the story, but this chapter isn't over yet," I said. "There will be a
'Scaredy Cat, Part Two' coming out tomorrow when I have an idea on how to progress."
"'Scaredy Cat?'" said Cat questioningly. "That's the lamest name for a story title I've heard!"
"Sorry, it was the best I could think of," I said.
"This whole chapter is lame," Cardia said. "So many unanswered questions like 'Who was the shooter? Who was
the shooter's target? How long exactly were they in the closet?"
"OBJECTION!" I yelled. "Once again, I'm leaving that to the imagination of the reader so shut up!"
"Wait, both of them shout 'OBJECTION?'" Mary asked. "Is this some kind of new Ace Attorney game or something?"
