The Robinson family was at their annual camping trip, the boys,
thirteen year old Marcus and eleven years old Steven where playing at
the river. While their parents Joel and Nicole, with their elder
sister, sixteen years old Monica stayed at the camping site.
While playing in the water Steven saw something shiny at the bottom of
the river.
-Hey there's something there
Steve dive down to try to retrieve it, emerging with what appeared to
be a medallion.
-What's that?- ask his brother taking the medallion from him.
-Hey it's mine, I found it.
-Shut up, shirmp -as his brother usually call him- ...it looks like a
cheap indian souvenier or somehing...
-I don't care give it back.
-Fine, if you want it go get it. -said Marcus while throwing it across
the river.
-Boys! lunch is ready! -called their father.
-o-o-o-
Later that night, back at their house. Steven was quitely sobbing in
his room. He had been punished for separate from his brother on the
way back from the river, he really want that medallion. Of course, he
tried to blame his brother, but he quickly covered his ass saying that
he vanished from his sight on the way back. The implausibility of the
story didn't matter, it never has.
Crying alone in his room he caress the object of his current demise. A
small victory thought, at least they let him keep his medallion. At
further impection it noted some marks like characters in the
medallion.
-I wish to know if they mean anything.
As so the medallion started to glow. And the scripture on it started
to translate before his eyes.
"Mortals of this artifact power beware,
on others its affliction we thus banish,
to the foolish bearer a warning this is,
wish only to others what would you wish on thee."
-Wish on others?
