As the little man ran, he felt the ointment on his body heating up. It wasn't petroleum jelly after all. He
grinned, and wondered whether he'd become a sumo wrestler or a dragon. Whatever it was he was sure to be a
match for that stupid mechanical pink rabbit chasing him.
His limbs began to shimmer silvery colored, but it was only as they stiffened up that Patrick realized something
was terribly wrong. His buddies with the stolen empty container truck were in the alley just two blocks up.
His plans to insinuate himself into the ointment shop owners' household to deactivate the alarms from the inside
and clean the store out in the dead of night had failed. He was running slower, and that slow moving but
relentless rabbit was right on his trail. Bob and Hank were his only hope. He dragged his stiff legs toward
the alley and his criminal cohorts. He felt his arms and legs snap together magnetically. His body fused he was
now a living metal clad cylinder. He was a giant AA Battery.
The giant Energizer Bunny hopped up behind Patrick, just as Hank and Bob turned the corner. They stared in
horror as Patrick's silvery skinned face smoothed to become part of the battery's smooth surface.
"Patrick!" they shouted in unison.
