“Our mermaid tails!” Ruby shouted as she saw the two costume mermaid tails.
They were incredibly realistic looking. Ruby took the one meant for her out. The scales were silky smooth and colored a metallic pink. The two fins at the waist and the one at the fluke were nearly opaque at the limbs and nearly transparent at the edge. Samantha’s was the same way, only hers was a silvery blue color.
“I’ll go get the bikinis and we’ll try them on.” Samantha said as she raced upstairs to her room. She opened the closet and took out a box containing two bikinis made of real seashells they got at an arts and crafts store and tied by sturdy shiny ribbon. Samantha ran downstairs with the box.
“So, where should we try these on?” Ruby asked as Samantha returned.
