As Don Carlito’s men continue to pummel me, “So Alpha, where’s your pack when you need them?” Suddenly a pair
of howls is heard from the brownstone building followed by another pair of howls from up the street. “What was
that?” said Moose, I replied “My pack.” Jeff shows up with another werewolf who I guess is Julie, then up the
road, 2 other werewolves rush in on whom I recognized as my sister Karen and my cousin Samantha, I don’t know
why they're here but their timing couldn’t be any better. “Let Alpha go!” said Jeff, while Karen says “Let him
go orrrr you’ll rrrregrrrret it.” “Make us!” replied Bull, suddenly Jeff, Julie, Karen and Samantha were on
either end of the two muscle men, both Jeff and Karen threw a punch at both muscle men knocking them out.
“So,” I said “you asked for my pack and now you see them.” Don Carlito said “This isn’t over Alpha, I’ll be
back and the next time I’ll get you with or without your pack.” Don Carlito left with both of his muscle men
followed with the gunman close behind. The tenants all cheered and I said “This is a temporrrrarrrry
victorrrry, but we will not rrrrest until Don Carrrlito is locked up.” Karen and Samantha rushed back up the
road while Jeff, Julie and I went to the apartment. A few minutes later, we were back to our human form with
Karen and Samantha “So Karen,” I said “What brings you here besides coming to my rescue?” Karen said “We
decided to drop by your place, we had no idea you were fighting against Don Carlito.” “Oh,” I said “Where are
my manners? Julie, this is my sister Karen and that’s my cousin Samantha. Karen, Samantha, this is Julie
Newbourn one of my neighbors and she’s….” Karen continues “A werewolf, I can sense others too Josh.” Julie
holds out her hand “Delighted to meet you ma’am.”
