While Daniele and Misty were frantically trying to rescue Rain's laptop with the chronivac program Rain still tried to convince Sunny, that there
was nothing to worry about and these 'Jay' was nothing important. Rain must use every rhetoric trick she knew to persuade Sunny, cause even if
she was naive and didn't look very bright, she could be very stubborn and wasn't easy to distract.
In the end Rain was finally able to convince Sunny, that these 'Jay' was once the pizza boy, who used to deliver their usual weekend pizza, and
was now Joan (the girl which in fact even in the old reality delivered Sean's, Jay's and Dan's pizzas).
"Whoa, that was a bit mean of you. Bit I suppose it's a fair punishment for taking advantage of your situation.", said Sunny with a smile, "I mean,
after all, what's so bad about being a girl. I wouldn't liked it any other way."
"Yeah, I see. But you know I was always the mean one of us.", answered Rain, being happy that Sunny wasn't suspicious any more.
Now that the discussion with Sunny was at an end, Rain finally became aware of the whispering voices at the dining table. She turned around and
was shocked to see that Daniele and Misty were working at her laptop with towels and a knocked water glass next to them.
"Hey, you two! What did you do?!", shouted Rain angrily. At first Jay was about to mess with the chronivac and now were Daniele and Misty
messing with it.
"No reason to be upset Rain, really", tried Daniele to calm down Rain. She knew that Rain could be really bitchy when something happened with
her stuff. Like that one time when Sunny accidentally dyed one of her favorite shirts pink.
"It was just a bit water, see. Everything is alright. We just tried to dry it.", appeased Daniele.
"Yes, and I am really sorry, Rain. But look everything works fine.", mumbled Misty and showed Rain her laptop.
Indeed, despite the wetness, everything worked. Rain just tried some short routines, but then she saw something missing. The chronivac
program somehow vanished from her laptop. It was liked had never been there.
"Come on, you see that nothing happened.", said Sunny, who came to the table to examine the mess. "Don't be angry any more."
Rain looked into the faces of her friends and knew that she couldn't be mad at them anymore. The regret in Daniele's and Misty's faces and the
sad puppy look of Sunny made it more then difficult to be at least angry. Also there was now real damage, and she won't start the discussion
about the chronivac program again.
"Okay, I am sorry. I didn't want to shout at you.", apologized Rain and hugged her friends. Daniele poured all of them a glass of vodka against
the shock, except Misty of course. She got a glass of water.
The next morning...
"Hey Rain, wake up! It's almost noon!" Sunny's flashy voice boomed through the apartment. Rain rolled around in her bed and buried her head in
her pillow, in the hope it would mute the noise.
"Oh, be quiet, Sunny! It's saturday morning.", muffled Misty from her room. She got a hard headache from last night and was still sleepy.
While Jay was always kind of an early bird, it seemed that Sunny shared this habit, along with her sometimes unnerving happiness, which let her
dance and sing around in the apartment while the others still tried to sleep.
Finally Rain couldn't take it anymore and lifted herself up from the bed and tried to dress for the day. The whole last evening she tried to find the
contact data of transdem labs or the delivery ad on cyoc.net to get a new chronivac, but somehow they vanished.
'Well', thought Rain while she searched her dresser for panties and bra,' perhaps it was better this way. I mean, we were all happy this way. And
being a girl wasn't so bad. Sure, I can't change back, but I think after a few days I wouldn't even wanted to change back. At least this way nobody
can mess with us and our bodies again."
Thirty minutes of waiting for the twins to be ready in front of the bathroom, fifteen minutes in the bathroom and ten minutes of dressing later,
Rain met the others at breakfast.
Rain wore a strapless black dress with a ruffled skirt and red highlights. Her hair was still a mess and all in all she looked very sleepy.
Daniele and Misty didn't look much better and wore now identical jeans and sweater.
Only Sunny was still an idol of joy, wearing a blue skirt and a yellow top and eating a toast with marmalade.
"So what do you wanna do this evening? Any plans? How about movies? Oh, no. I know how about we go to that frat party tonight?", asked Sunny
in her usual rapid-fire way.
