There was a knock on the door.
"Ryan, is time for your lesson. Stop playing with Ethan and get out." it was Ryan mother on the other side,
but somehow she sounded strange.
"Lesson?... not right now mom."
"Mom?" the door automatically opened like in one of those Sci-fi movies, and from there a bigger version of
Ryan in a gold spacesuit appeared. "Progeny Unit Ryan-Sol, I knew getting you that extinct animal to play was
a mistake. We were in agreement that if we get you your pet it wont interfere with your formation. Emotional
practitioners are really lost with that Emotion Intelligence Theory."
"A pet?... I'm no pet." growled angrily Ethan.
"And how many times have I told you not to wire him into the Residence Neural Network. I don't want your
animal to pollute our thoughts, as I see it has with you." With that she produced a control, and with the
press of a button a sharp pain crossed Ethan's brain. He quickly recovered but now he wasn't able to
understand Ryan or his mother, and they could understand him.

("Mom what did you do to Ethan?")
"Ryan!!"
("HHHeuuhhhh!!!")screamed the devolved boy.

And with another press of a button Ethan was beamed back into the Hominid Faculty they took them from.
