The words Jen finally decided on were "tall basketball player". It wasn't a terribly detailed description,
but the magic of the ring was more than capable of filling in the gaps. Jen watched as the girl paused in mid-
step and seemed shake her head as if clearing water from her ears. For her part, the girl suddenly felt
unnerved, and noticed that all the hairs on her body were standing up as if some terrible thing was creeping
up behind her. Looking behind her though, she saw only Jen, doing her best to look innocent and uninterested
while really watching the girl like a hawk. Dismissing the uneasy feeling in her gut, the girl turned around
and was just about to rejoin her friends when the first changes hit her.
It started with her clothes, which changed from a frilly skirt and top into a basketball jersey and shorts.
Then the physical changes hit her. With a cry, she doubled over in pain as she felt a wave of cramps hit her
body. She closed her eyes in pain, trying to grit her teeth against the discomfort, but strangely, she never
seemed to be able to predict where they would strike. They seemed to just move from place to place all over
her body, leaving her helpless to do anything but stand there. She heard voices around her as her friends
gathered around her, and she heard them talking in hushed voices that seemed more alarmed than they should be.
Opening her eyes, she looked around for the cause of their alarm, but they were all looking at her.
As she tried to figure out why, another wave of cramps hit her in her arms, and this time she happened to
look at them as it happened. With a start she saw her arms had become quite muscular, and as she watched they
rippled and swelled some more. Looking herself over, she saw that her entire body had thickened, and was not
covered in sleek muscle that gave her the appearance of a fit female athlete. She was just coming to terms
with these changes when she felt a sudden soreness in her bones, and looked down and noticed the floor getting
farther away. As she watched, her limbs stretched until she was eye to eye with her friends, and the growth
didn't stop. With each passing second, she could feel her bones lengthening, stretching her body out until she
towered over her friends, not stopping until she reached 6'5".
Jen watched the remaining girls back nervously away from their friend, unaware that the rest of them were squarely in Jen's sights. Pointing the ring at the first of the blond twins, Jen said...
