Elle ran her hands over her body, now an exact copy of her 16 year old daughter Alli's. She had forgotten
how good it felt to be young. And pretty. Elle had always been a little envious of her daughter for that.
Unlike Elle, who had to work at it even at Alli's age, Alli just seemed to radiate beauty without even trying.
Elle never understood how Alli did it so easily while she couldn't. The two of them actually looked very
similar. It wasn't so much that Alli had anything she didn't, it was just that Alli always seemed to have a
bit more of it. A bit more tone, a slightly better smile, slightly longer legs, wider hips, firmer breasts.
Elle could never have competed with her daughter, even had they been the same age. So naturally, Elle was
enjoying herself.
It was several minutes before she managed to tear herself away from her own reflection, and she finally
did, it was only to walk to Alli's room to pick out an outfit from her daughter's closet. Elle tore off her
own drab clothes, eager to see her new body clothed in something a little more exciting. Clothes flew out of
the closet as Elle tried on outfit after outfit. She marveled at how fantastic her curves looked in the low
cut tops she'd always fought with her daughter about, and how the short skirts she hated displayed her long
sensuous legs.
After a while, Elle caught a glimpse of the clock and realized she needed to change back. Her kids would be
done with school in a few minutes and they'd be home soon after. Elle glumly cast one long wistful gaze back
at mirror. She'd had more fun today that she remembered having in months, but it was over now. But she
promised herself she'd do it again soon. Tomorrow she'd have the house to herself again and she had not even
begun to explore the possibilities. Walking back to the the heap of clothes on the floor, she picked up her
shirt and, reluctantly, touched it to the medallion. Nothing happened. Elle kept holding the fabric against
the medallion, but she felt nothing resembling the shock from last time. A cold feeling began forming in the
pit of her stomach but she told herself to remain calm. She still had the box. Surely one of the other objects
would fix this.
Running back downstairs, she rushed over to the box and began rummaging through it, looking for some way to
reverse her transformation, but she had never figured out how any of them worked. Finally she found the
instruction manual and began flipping through it furiously until she found the entry on the medallion. Her
spirits soared as she read, hoping to find the answer to her predicament, only to sink as she read the last
lines of the entry:
After the transformation is complete, at least twelve hours must elapse before the Medallion can be used to return the user to their original form or take on a new shape. It is prudent to remember this at all times.
Twelve hours? She might not even have twelve minutes! Frantically she flipped through the manual looking
for the something else that might help her. She dismissed the Test Tube and Amulets, along with the Gender
Ring. The Wonder Watch was no use since she couldn't hypnotize herself. With increasing desperation, Elle
grabbed the Universal Remote and pointed it at herself. But when she pressed "Select", the profile that
appeared was showed her daughter's body. She came to the horrifying realization that the remote had no record
of the changes, or of her old body. The Ring of Three had the same problem, her command of "back to normal"
having no effect. Elle was now at her wits end as she moved to the last artifact left, the Master PC.
Grabbing the disk she ran over to her computer and practically shoved the disk inside, pressing "yes" as
soon as the window appeared. She fidgeted nervously as the progress bar on the installer filled, far to
slowly. She jumped as she heard a bus pull up outside. Running to the window, she saw her daughter Alli step
off the bus and start walking up to steps to the house. It was the worst of all possibilities. Elle cringed to
imagine how her daughter would react when she found someone who looked exactly like her in her house.
Now on the verge of sheer terror Elle ran back over to her computer...
