I quickly forgot about Runt as I paced around the room, feeling my around my new body, panting heavily from excitement. Walking on four legs
came naturally, though it did take quite some time to get used to. Not just because of the unfamiliar motions, knees bending the wrong way and
the like, but also because I could feel the floor beneath paws.
The smells of the place struck me too, unsurprisingly. Familiar smells like the food I had eaten and the musk of the place but also new smells that
must have always been there but I had never noticed.
I was giddy and it wasn't long before parading around my apartment was not enough for me. Runt had gone back to the sofa. I whined loudly at
him and scratched at the door.
"Oh, alright, calm down." He got up and opened the door for me. I wasted no time in leaving. I quickly navigated the elevator with my nose and
got a funny look from the doorman as I trotted out the front door.
Being outside was wonderful. The smells and sounds were so overwhelming that I felt a strange, new appreciation for the street I had walked so
many times. And the freedom of movement nudity had was so liberating. I carefully crossed the road and made my way towards Central Park.
