The next day Matt was to be taken to the chamber and be put in one of the sections for a longer stay that he
had experimented until now. He woke up still feeling his ass sore from the day before, when the guards came
to take him.
This time however they didn't take him to the usual chamber but lead them out of the containment units into
the management area. The carpeted floor felt weird under his bare feet now use to the cold hard floors of the
prison and the other facilities. They took him to a door labeled Warden Taylor. A pair of armed officers stood
beside him while the warden rotated in his chair to face him. Not to his surprise it was the same muscular man
that greet him on his cell and the same that mount him during the polo games. He instructed without speaking
the officers to leave and Matt to take a seat.
The leather of the chair pressed against Matt bare skin, while the big man lit up a cigar before finally
speaking.
"There's been news about your case. But, first let me be clear to you. Antonio Esposito was punished into
lifetime by his actions yesterday in the House, that much is true. However that was in violation of the Rules
here in Thornback on his behalf and not because of recrimination of his actions against you. Is that
understood inmate?"
The man towers over you, his pose, demeanor, even the tone of his voice is all to intimidating to Matt so he
answered: "Crystal... sir."
"Good" said before huffing again on his cigar. "Now, let me ask you know the circumstances that led you here."
"It was..." Matt hesitated a second "...because a killed a boy."
"The legal term was Brain Death. However over the course of the week, one of the brilliant scientist that
worked in the Thornback project had a major breakthrough in medicine, specifically the one concerning your
case. The boy who you supposedly killed can and will make a recovery. As such the judge can no longer accuse
you of murder."
When you hear this you feel ecstatic, you are no killer, which meant: "That means that I will be freed from
here, at least transfered right?"
"Keep quiet, boy" Said the man in a stern voice. "You are in chance charge with Aggravated Battery, between
others charges."
"Then what does this means?" asked Matt worried.
