Sadly, breaking a unicorn's horn was like slashing open a major artery. Trixie's eyes rolled up in her head and she fell onto her side, Chun-Li had
no idea what was going on and assumed the villain had simply fainted. Instead the unicorn was dead in under a minute, and snow began to fall
heavily outside the bricked in house. Trixie's death having triggered a permanent snow storm Over Tandy. And with Kylie dead, there was no way
to use the curse or her magic to make another unicorn to restore the balance she had unwittingly made Trixie a part of when she transformed her.
They didn't find out Trixie was dead for hours because no one came near her assuming again she simply fainted or didn't want to come near her.
Chun-Li of course was able to punch through the walls. And the snow was falling, everyone assumed it was part of Kylie's magic. Others objected
due to the erroneously delusion that simply cause someone did something by magic that it would stop when they died. No one even guessed it
was due to the death of a unicorn. Chun-Li of course didn't know the first thing about fantasy and neither did Tyler and since Jen had invited the
snobs and the popular, no one there would dare admit they knew anything about something so socially unacceptable.
Meteorologists debated for weeks over the cause. Some groups screamed it was global warming . . . how global warming was supposed to result
in a unrelenting isolated snowstorm in the middle of nowhere they didn't exactly have an answer. The appearance of a few strange people and the
death of one girl were overlooked in the much bigger pictures. Months later, the town had to be abandoned due to the endless snow, and that
continued to spread a few feet from the point of Trixie's death every day.
So please, please, PLEASE, never EVER assume quick fix solutions are the answer to everything!
