Ike was Luke's best friend until he brought home the add showing easy money for being a study of the Natas Research Co.
It was over the last two years that Ike had begun to workout building muscles on strong bone. As Luke was lean and healthy, Ike was a brute and healthy.
The Research Doctor was quick to point out the Long Study would bring Ike the largest return and the enhancement would help and be helped by his muscle mass. Ike saw the figures and his greed got the best of him. Quickly he signed the paper releasing the company of any and all responsibility for possible long term health ailments.
As the young man stripped down to the buff he was still thinking and laughing about his good fortune. It was when he sat on the Doctor's exam table that he began to understand how long the word long meant.
The injections gave him a warm feeling simular to a heavy workout. Then tolsd to lay back and let the juices take full effect he was very upset when the Doctor's assistant locked Ike's legs and arms into leather shackles.
"It's for your safety and ours too! As I insert this I.V. and the Delbyria virus works it's magic on those fine hard muscles we should see many enhancements very soon." said the Doctor.
Ike yelled and cursed the men as they worked around him and said nothing. As the virus seeped into his veins a clouded view brought on deep sleep. The yellow brightness of Summer sun greeted him next as he heard men talking he moved his head to hear and maybe see.
"The Delbyria virus has been pulsing those veins for nine days since we first strapped him to the exam table. Now with him out in the Sunshine his skin should darken and assume the proper testures." said on Lab Tech to another.
Ike moved a little and tried to yell for help but the best he could muster was a ragged sort of scream. The straps were gone and he was free of the exam table too. The Lab Techs ran for safety as Ike struggled to stand.
"Good morning young Ike I see we are standing up that's a very good sign!" said the Doctor as he approached. "you have been sedated for nine days and nights but now I think it was time for your "Coming out!" as they say."
Ike looked around and felt strangely stiff.
"Young man, ahh young Ike I would like to be the first to congratulate you as our first complete enhanced body changeover. True, that mass of strong muscle and body in fine health pulled you through. I present Ike the result of Delbyria virus intervention process, you are now a wonderful specimen of a male Belgian Draft horse colt. As the SanKeeysion virus is injected daily the growth and mature final form should become quite apparent. The Study has added quite a high sum for your continued service and you might be able to retire with all the money you need in just twenty short years from now." explained the Doctor.
Ike whinnied aloud!
