The dog guards at the loud bang and blinding flash all revert to four legged forms instinctively in a canine response of fight or flight. Steve now draped with human clothes too big for his canine self as he reverts the rest of the way into his canine self growls at Jack. Ears back, fur bristling the sergeant eyes Jack. Mission first questions later he tells himself as his pack form up around him. Using canine senses of smell and hearing the guard dogs easily herd the hapless human vet tech and the two malamute bitches into the center of the room.
Jack having closed his eyes just before the flash watches his canine partners securing the area as they leave items of human clothing in their wake. Putting his gun away he smirks slightly at seeing the bewildered look upon the human’s face as she blinks several times in a vain effort to get her vision back faster.
“Stay calm miss and you will not be harmed.”
“Who are you?”
“Park security miss.”
“Oh! Be careful one of those two bitches is a werewolf!”
His men busy getting too know the two confused bitches huddled beside the vet tech Steve looks up at the lady’s last words.
Wincing as he sees the look from his canine sergeant Jack sighs. Rules are rules he tells himself as he takes out a pouch of powder from a front vest pocket.
“Miss I really do wish you did not say that.”
“Say what?”
But just as these words leave her mouth and vision finally starts coming back she finds powder being blown into her face. The chalky cloud quickly filling her nose and seeping into her pores the vet tech begins to choke and sneeze. Feeling dizzy she begins to sit down on the floor even as unbeknown to herself fur has started to cover the areas of skin touched by the powder.
