"I don't know..." Luke trailed off and stared at where his dad was just standing. "Maybe he didn't notice?"
"Didn't notice?" Mark sounded shock. "How could he not notice this?!" Mark gave their naked body a shake in front of the mirror.
"I don't know!" Luke sounded frustrated and grabbed Mark's arm, "And stop that. I think we should get dressed."
"Dressed?"
"Ya."
"No Luke, we need to get out of this thing." Mark reached behind them in search for the zipper again. Meanwhile, Luke took control of their legs and walked over to where they had taken off their cloths and threw on his jeans. He tried to do up the zipper and belt with his hand, but couldn't manage to. Mark then caught Luke looking at him, "What? I'm still trying to undo this suit."
"That's fine." Luke said calmly, "But can we put some pants on in the mean time?" Mark grumbled something Luke couldn't hear, and helped him put their pants on. Luke then started walking to the door, "We should head down for dinner."
"Luke, no." Mark brought their legs to a halt, and the pair almost fell over. "We're not going down there like this. I don't care what you say, we're just not."
"Dude," Luke started, "It's not about what I say, it's about..."
Suddenly the door opened, and once again Ethan stuck his head in. "Guys. Dinner is ready. Get down stairs. Now!" He was about to leave when Luke stopped him.
"Dad wait!" Luke reached his hand out, but Mark kept them standing in place. Ethan opened the door a bit more and took a step inside. Luke and Mark exchanged a quick glance. "Do you notice anything different about us?"
"Other than that you two are acting weird?"
"Um, I guess so."
"No, I don't notice anything different."
"So... you see us as two different people?" Luke asked nervously.
Ethan let out a small sigh. He came into the room, closed the door behind himself, and walked over to the joined pair. He put his hand on Luke's shoulder, and looked from Luke to Mark and back again. "Guys, you are different people. Always have been, and always will be. I know it's not always easy being together like this, but it can't be helped."
The two boys looked at each other then back at Ethan. "Wow wow wow, wait, what?"
"Dad..." Luke thought about what to say, "So, you see us as a two headed body?"
Ethan gave them a puzzled look, "Well ya. You were born like that..." He eyed both of them suspiciously, "Look, if we're done here, dinner is ready. And Luke, you know how your mom gets when you're late for dinner."
"Ya, I know." Luke sighed. Ethan then left the two boys in Luke's room. "Come on Mark, let's go eat."
"No."
"What?"
"I need to get home." Mark wheeled their body around and walked over to where he dumped his clothes. He bent down and used his arm to pick up his jacket and started to put it on.
"Didn't you hear. Dinner is ready." Luke refused to put his arm in the jacket and tried to walk them back to the door.
"I don't care."
"You better care!" Luke shouted, "You and me, we're sharing this two headed body right now. If my mom is going to get mad at me, she's going to get mad at you too!"
"I don't care right now Luke!" Mark turned his head, and Luke could see a mix of fear and panic. "You and me were born like this?! If that's true, and Max is my twin bother, then what the hell could have happened to him?!" Luke felt their heart skip a beat, and the same look came over his face. He put his arm in Mark's jacket and together they left the room.
