They grabbed these round bells and put them on the collars, paid for them, and went.
"You look cute wearing that bell collar." Amy said as they were walking home.
"Thanks," Lina said "You too."
After a few seconds, they felt funny. They turned toward eachother, and saw that they both looked like anime versions of themselves.
"Amy," Lina said "your eyes look really big, and your nose is pointy - you have an anime face!"
"You too!" Amy said. They looked at eachother as they continued to change. Each of them lost a foot in hight, but gained larger breasts, and
wider hips. Their ears became big triangles that moved to the top of their heads. Their noses became pink triangles, their upper lips split neatly
down the middle, and they each got cute little fangs. Their fingers puffed out to make room for retractable claws, and they got pink paw-pads
on their fingers and palms, and the same things that happened to their hands, happened to their feet too. Their pupils became slit, and they
both got wild, untamed hair, and smooth tails 2 feet long. Amy had pink hair with pink eyes, and Lina had purple hair with purple eyes.
"Lina-Chan," Amy said in a younger voice "I suspect that putting these collars with bells on, has transformed us into nekos, nya!"
"I believe you speak the truth, Amy-Chan, nya!" Lina said, also in a younger voice.
"Our speech patterns seem to have changed, nya." Amy said.
"I have noticed this truth as well, nya." Lina said.
"Should we proceed to remove them, nya?" Amy asked.
"Why, Amy-Chan?" Lina asked "Do you truly desire to give up your new body, nya?"
"Well," Amy said smiling "when I think somewhat more carefully, many girls would be jealous of our improved assets, and it is most likely many
kawii boys would desire to go on a date with a real, live neko, nya. Why should I have to give it up, nya? Why should WE have to give it up, nya?
Do you not like it, nya?"
Lina looked herself over and smiled. "I do not wish to give it up, nya. I like myself better this way, and if anyone thinks I am somewhat strange,
then it shall be THEIR problem, nya!"
"I whole-heartedly agree with you, Lina-Chan." Amy happily said. "We shall always be the best of friends, Lina-Chan. This I promise, nya."
"I promise it as well, Amy-Chan, nya." With that, the two hugged eachother. "Another thing I noticed, Lina-Chan," Amy said "is in spite of our
looks, our intellect has increased, nya!" "I noticed as well, Amy-Chan." Lina said "I just thought of a difficult algebra question that stumped me
yesterday, but now I know the answer, nya! Our brains have become as supercomputers, nya. Think of all we are capable of now, and there's no
doubt that we have perfect balance, nya. We could become brilliant doctors and find cures for illnesses, become olympic gold-metlists, or do
both, nya!"
"Oh, yes, nya!" Amy happily said "We shall do all of that together, and share our earnings and winning with eachother. There shall be no ailment
we can't fix, and no obstacle we can't overcome - we shall be an unstoppable pair of neko friends, nya!"
"Calm yourself, Amy-Chan." Lina said, patting Amy's shoulder gently "We shall indeed do all those things, but first things first. Let's have some
fun first, nya!"
"Oh yes, my neko sister," Amy said, barely able to contain her happiness "but whatever shall we do first, nya?'
