AN: Another recap here, telling a more detailed history of the primary antagonist of the series. In the series proper, Wrath-Amon was created from an ordinary Gila Monster after his predecessor, Ram-Amon became fustrated with Dregs constant failures, and created him to be a far more capable servant to him. However, even right at the start, he sought the power that his master possessed, and plotted to take the Black Ring of Set from him. A goal that, ultimately, was handed to him by his own arch nemisess, Conan, who had travelled back in time - a little too far - to prevent his parents from being turned to stone by Wrath-Amon. His resultant interference enabled Wrath-Amon to steal the ring when Ram-Amon lost it, and he imprisoned his former master. Accepting the challenge from Set, he was reformed into a more human looking form and given the name Wrath-Amon by Set, serving as his Chief Servant for over 200 years, completing the resultant Stable Time-Loop. For almost all of that time, only four knew of his nature. Himself, Ram-Amon, Set, and Dregs - who served under him for that time. Only three times, did he lose the Ring. The first, was when his nature caught up to him, forcing him to relinquish the Black Ring so that he could shed his skin, reverting back to his true self for the duration. The second was after he imprisoned Torrinon, one of the minor rulers, in his own castle, and had briefly captured Conan and his team as well. Once tricked into thinking they were trapped, Torrinon was able to steal the Ring, the loss of it's magics causing him to revert to his Lizardman form - and lose almost all his attire as well, just a ragged strip left. Which provided the secondary effect of alerting the others present to his true nature, a major weakpoint that could be exploited. This one concluded when Dregs accidently swallowed the Ring, forcing Wrath-Amon to chase him and leave Conan and Co for another time. Towards the series end, he succeeded in his goal of bringing his diety, Set back from the Abyss, and was granted immense power by Set, so that while he had the Ring, he would be invincible. A combined effort from Conan, his friends, Queen Mesmira and Ram-Amon enabled them to take the Ring away from him for the final time, and, with Conan's Amulet of Vathelos at full power, he was able to revert Wrath-Amon back to his lizard form. This time, for good. His Black Ring destroyed.
That's the Canon History. But not what needs to be here.
Where - and how - you change his destiny, and indeed, his personality, is all of your own choosing.
