Ty was having a blast as SuperTy. He loved being this powerful. He was currently invisible because he did not want people to be surprised. It is
not every day they see a superhero flying in the sky. Also, Ty wanted some time alone to enjoy his new powers. After a while of flying he landed
and started to walk down the street, wondering what to do next with his powers. Walking past a bank Ty heard faint whispers of fright. Turning
towards the building he used his x-ray vision and saw that the bank was being robbed. Ty was worried and wondered what to do. Then he
remembered that he was a superhero now. Before he went in he wished that he would not be seen as a weirdo. Instead, he would be seen as a
genuine superhero, but this is the first time he has appeared. Ty made himself visible again as he raced into the bank. “Leave these people
alone,” he demanded. Everyone looked relieved except for the robber who fired his gun while saying, “Eat hot lead!”
The robber fired the gun but the bullets bounced off Ty’s chest and hit nearby innocent bystanders. The criminal fled but Ty was too distracted
by the injured people nearby. Ty used his powers to heal the injured but by the time he healed the last injured person, the criminal had gotten
away with a portion of money and the trail was cold. Ty had no idea where the criminal was.
The police came and restored order, thanking Ty for the help. Along with the police the press also came. Ty was surrounded by reporters and
cameras, asking questions about him. The crowd had mixed feelings about Ty. Some were grateful for his help but others complained about
how clumsy he had been allowing innocent bystanders to be injured and the criminal to get away.
“Who are you?” one reporter asked. Ty blushed from embarrassment and said, “I’m SuperTy!” Cameras clicked to take his picture. All the news
for the next few days was about "SuperTy, superhero or idiot in a costume".
Ty thought, "Maybe being a superhero isn't all it's cracked up to be. I need to learn more so I don't make mistakes like that."
