John and Carrie decided that the building of distorting mirrors should be an interesting place to amuse themselves for a while, so they directed their bare feet in the direction of the fun house.
They waited in the short line, and gave the bluejay keeping vigil over the line the required payment before moving to go in. The toon held them back.
"Hold the phone, you two. Did you read the warning to make sure you want to go in?" he asked.
John gave him a look. "What do you mean?"
The bluejay pointed to a sign on the line post and John and Carrie peered closer to read it.
Hello customers and welcome to the Distortion House! Hopefully, you have read the sign at the park entrance concerning the theme of all the park rides. If you have, you can either continue reading or resume waiting in line, wanting to be surprised by what surprises are inside. If you haven't and you've just come here to amuse yourself with standing in front of distorting mirrors and seeing your form be bended into incomprehensible shapes, well you better read on. Some of you will like surprises too, but it'd be in your best interest to read on anyway, so you won't be too surprised.
Since this park's theme is Transformation - YES, you read right, Transformation - you will not only watch as the mirrors distort your reflection, but the mirrors distort your actual body too. If you stand in front of a mirror and the reflection makes you look like you gained 50 pounds, then you actually gained 50 pounds. If you stand in front of a mirror and the reflection shows you inflated at a large size, well you actually inflated to a large size!
Be sure to think carefully about your decision before entering the labyrinth! If you aren't appealed with swelling to monstrous sizes or becoming a sumo in the blink of an eye, than not only do you need to get away from this attraction, you need to get out of the park altogether! If however, you liked it or are inclined to give it a try, you are more than welcome here! You will rarely be transformed and expanded to the point of immobility and if you are, close your eyes or look away from the mirror until you shrink to a more movaeble size.
If you have read this and were blissfully unaware of the theme of this Fun House, pat yourself on the back. That way, you won't embarrass yourself and you at least have the option to make a choice. If you missed the sign and so happen to read it later, well...we apologize for the mistake, but we're are not liable for any foolish mistakes YOU make, so take it up with yourself. Read the signs next time!
For those who read it and still want to continue, have fun and enjoy the rest of the day!
Carrie began to feel exited. The more she thought about it, the more fun it sounded. She and John eventually concluded to at least give it a try. Thanking the toon bluejay, they went into the fun house.
When they first entered the building john saw a mirror that made him look like a chibi and sure enough Carrie watched as John's body shrank and his head grew until he was only half of his normal size, then he looked at Carrie and immediately reverted to his "normal" toon body.
There were multiple paths ahead of them and only a couple of toons walking, bouncing or rolling around. Each path indicated maze paths exclusively for different types of transformations. The one in the middle promised a combination of expansion and transformation fun!
John and Carrie thought their decision over and decided...
