As Bruiser's knot filled Max's ass, the mind that used to be Jeff began to return to some degree.
"Oh God, what's happened to me!" Max/Jeff thought. "I can't believe Richie did this to..."
He whimpered a bit as the massive Bruiser shifted around.
"I've got to get out of this! I can't stay this way!"
"He is such a beautiful dog." Beth said. "I wish I had a dog like him."
"Well, if you like him, I could sell him to you." Richie replied.
Max's ears perked in alarm as he heard this and he turned his head to try and see around Bruiser's bulk.
"Are you serious?" Beth asked, surprised that Richie would want to sell such a beautiful dog to her.
"Well, I have a little predicament." Richie lied, quickly thinking of the best way to get close to Beth and spin all this to his advantage. "See my family is moving to a new place soon and we won't be able to keep Max there. We'll still be in town so I would like to find someone who, besides being a good owner for him, would let me come over and see him still. I can already tell you're great with dogs seeing how good you've taken care of Bruiser, so that's not a problem. If you wouldn't mind me coming over maybe once a week to play with him I wouldn't mind saling him to you."
"No! Oh God please no!" Max thought as he looked from his brother to Bruiser who seemed to almost be smiling as his knot relaxing.
"What's the price?" Beth asked.
"Well, as you're helping me out here let's say a good home for Max and visitation rights and it's a deal."
"Great!" Beth said excitedly. "When can I pick him up?"
Max suddenly started to yelp and whine, pleading hopelessly with his brother who couldn't understand anything he was trying to say.
"Today if you like." Richie said, ignoring Max as he gave Beth his address. "Here's where we live. Come by later and I'll have everything ready for you."
"Sure thing."
At that, the two got up and rounded their now unlocked dogs to their side. Max kept his tail between his legs and looked up at the very happy looking Bruiser with fear, realizing that this would be far from the last time they saw each other.
"See ya later Beth!" Richie said. "Come on Max."
As he walked his former brother home, Richie talked to the whimpering dog beside him in a voice that mocked sympathy. "Sorry Je...err...Max, but hey, I'll still see you at least once a week...maybe more if this works out like I hope it will with Beth. Besides, she'll be a great owner for you, and I'm sure you and Bruiser will have lots of fun."
He smiled wickedly for a second.
"Well, at least I know Bruiser will."
At that, Max let out a scared and remorseful howl as his former brother dragged him back to the house.
