"Don't worry about your friends" Mercedes answered. "They too are accepting their true natures as adopted children of our goddess."

Rob had drifted off to sleep when Mary heard someone approaching. She turned her porcine head lazily. "Who you?" she asked the lean, brown-skinned woman with a stick in her hand.
"My name is Clarissa" answered the woman, "and I am here to serve you and your boar."
"Not pig, human." answered Mary, but she didn't sound very convinced.
"Do you really miss being human?" asked Clarissa. By this point Rob was waking up.
Mary thought. It was difficult to organize her thoughts. "Pig is better. Being pig better than being human."
"Yea, pig better." Rob chimed in. "Want to stay pig forever."
Clarissa gave a dazzling smile, and both the pigs felt a warm sense of safety and security coming from her. "You can stay pig forever. Live long, happy life. Clean straw. Food. Mating. Humans to serve you. Eat this food." said Clarissa, who began pulling delicious food, apples and potatoes and other good things, from her backpack. "Be all the way pig, stay pig forever, no worries, no work."
Mary felt a brief twinge of hesitation at the thought of giving up her humanity, but then realized that she had already given it up. Rob had already launched himself at the food, but Mary followed avidly. As both fo the pig-humans devoured the food Clarissa had brought, they lost the last traces of their humanity. Their fully porcine mouths could no longer form human words, and their bodies were those of pigs, with no trace of humanity. They moved with the grace of animals who had worn their forms all their lives."
Clarissa pulled out her cell phone. "All done, Mercedes. Two new children of the goddess. So beautiful."
