"That must have been a weird trip for you," I laughed.
"Worse than the time I took L.S.D.," Brittany said. "I would get you for that if--"
"If it wasn't for the fact that you wouldn't be able to anyway?" I smirked. She nodded. "Well let's just forget all that unpleasantness. I think you've suffered enough, knowing what it feels like to have your body broken into pieces and being able to feel each and every one of them."
"So what then?" she asked.
"I had a plan for you, dear Brittany," I said. I looked at Trisha. "But Trisha beat you to it." I thought that sounded dumb, but I didn't think that I could say it another way without making it sound like she was filling a role. "So I have another choice for you. We're all going to be living here together. This is a big house, too. Even though Erika has some people who upkeep the house, we'll probably need a live-in maid. So you can be our maid," I said.
"A maid?" she asked. "What if I say no?"
"I'm going to say you have no choice but to say yes," I said. "If you say no, I think I'll change that wish I made Saturday, and have the police come arrest you and your friends for committing those robberies."
"Why are you being so cruel to me all of a sudden?" she asked.
"Wow," I said. "Being in several pieces must have damaged your mind. That's why," I said, pointing to the two frozen guys with bloodthirsty looks frozen on their faces. "Make it easy," I continued. "Say 'yes,' and we'll go from there. I promise I won't let you be treated unfairly or let them treat you mean. And I won't make you do anything really, really disgusting. I can fix that myself."
"Oh, fine, then," she snipped. "Great. Life as a maid. Where's my uniform?"
I laughed. "You're in it."
"What? No, I can't do it like this," she said, motioning up and down her naked body.
"They're all naked. Well, Mia won't be regularly. And it's not like I haven't seen it before. Just deal with it." I enjoyed the fact she was so upset. It served her right after trying to have me beaten up, or worse.
"This is going to take some getting used to," she said.
"It is for all of us," I said. "That's just the way it's going to be for a while." Brittany sat down next to Trisha on one of the couches. They looked at each other suspiciously. "OK, now let's move on to our friendly neighborhood thugs. Any ideas?"
