In the early morning hours, both Kyle and Kevin were sound asleep. Which was really weird for Kevin since he always had a hard time staying asleep on his front. Their heads lay on the same pillow, facing in opposite directions. The sun wasn't even up yet when suddenly an obnoxious and loud alarm went off.
"UHHHHH! What's that!" Kyle moaned.
"I don't know..." Kevin sleepily replied.
"Turn it off!
"I can't... your closer."
Begrudgingly, Kyle opened his eyes and hit the alarm a few times before it shut off. "UHHHHH! Its 5:30! Why is your alarm going off at 5:30!"
"I don't know; I probably... CRAP! We have to get up!" Kevin rolled over to their back. "I have swim practice."
"What! This early!" Kyle complained. He rolled them back over.
"Kyle! I have to go!" He argued while flipping them over.
"Go ahead! I'll stay here!" He flipped them back to their front... again.
"That's kind of impossible Kyle! We're still joined!"
"UHHHH! Fine!" Kyle flung them out of bed and they crashed face first onto the carpet.
"UHHH! Kyle!" Kevin and him finally got to their feet and wobbled over to the door and opened it. Both were still half asleep so their coordination was totally off. Kyled grabbed onto the door frame for support before they toppled over. "Okay, I have to take a shower before swim."
"What?" Kyle complained. He kept a tight hold on the door frame and refused to walk any further. "We can't take a shower like this."
"Well we don't have a choice in the matter. You wanted to stay joined so this is what happens." Kevin stretched his arm out and grabbed the door frame of the bathroom. He pulled with all his strength, and Kyle responded by pulling the other way. It was a tug of war that neither was going to win.
"Wait stop, stop!" Kyle called out. Both he and Kevin let go of their respective doorframes. "This doesn't make sense. Are we going to take a shower then waltz straight to your swim practice like this"
"Well... uh... no. Last time we tried swimming you nearly drowned, and it would be kind of odd for my team to me and you like this."
"Yeah, see" Kyle lead them back into Jake's room, where they sat down beside him. Jake was still out, like Kyle thought he should be himself. Kevin quickly caught on. He took off his necklace and put it around, with Kyle's help, Jake's neck. Moments later, Kyle was apart from Kevin and rejoined with Jake. Kyle yawned, "See you at school. I'll have Josh pick us up."
"Alright" Kevin replied, but Kyle was already back asleep. He smiled at the sleeping pair and rubbed Jake's head before leaving the room. A few minutes later, Kevin was out the door with a piece of toast in his mouth.
