John browsed through the aisles of costumes, passing up penguins and lizards, looking for something truly unique to impress Carrie on her honeymoon. He didn't want to attempt a look that everybody else was doing; it was a very special day after all, and he wanted to stand out. One costume in particular seemed to catch his eye, if only because he could not identify it at all no matter how hard he stared at it. It looked like a brown ball of fur with no hole for the neck, but regular arm and leg holes, sleeve- and legless like a gym singlet. No terrestrial animal he knew of looked remotely like this. John called over the shop assistant to ask what the costume was, but the response was just "Other." An inadequate description from an inadequately described employee. Nevertheless, he took it into the changing room to see how it looked.
Savvy of what would happen when he put on the costume, John stripped his clothes off beforehand and left them on the bench. He zipped open the back and put his feet and arms into the holes allotted for them. The costume pulled hard at his skin as it began to work him over like Paco at the Houston Hilton, when he gets out the honey butter and gets a little wild style. But... I digress! John felt around back to see if his zipper was all the way up, and of course, his hand brushed up against his own back. If the mirror he was looking into wasn't lying, his appearance was that of a big-eyed haystack, or Captain Caveman's lanky brother with only a tiny button nose, with arms and legs that looked like a normal human. This costume was more than unique enough for John; his wife would love it like a boy loves pie!
John quickly grabbed his shoes and began to put them on, but he couldn't make them fit his cartoonishly big feet. No matter, going without them would be fine! He exited holding his folded clothes and looked around the costume shop for Carrie, who had not yet chosen a costume as far as he knew. However, at the exit door, there was a white spider girl with blue arms and those classic Red Hot Riding Hood curves, holding her hands on her hips and blowing him a kiss with her other hands. John knew of only one person that would go as the extinct Eophrynus prestivicii spider on a Toon World trip - "Carrie, doll! You must have changed while I was pussyfooting around. How are ya?" "Sweet, hon", Carrie replied. "I'm the happiest bug in the rug when I'm with you!" The toonification had given them both strong Hollywood accents.
John held his wife's hand as she put another hand around his shoulder, and said, "I want to make this the best honeymoon ever. What do we do, and where will we go? There are so many choices, I don't know where to start!"
