...a little snake of about twentyfive centimetres. Stacey said: "I made it that small to hide it from you till now. And i didn´t want to freighten you..." Amber was really curious about the feelings, the tiny snake would do on her skin, and took it carefully out of Staceys hand. The snake seemed to be no threat. Amber knew that tiger pythons aren´t using poison. And the chance for this tiny one to constrict her were REALLY small. The animal rolled itself into Ambers hand, and slithered out its thounge to smell her. "It´s really cute! i want to take it. Though, it wont dissapear after a periode of time? I mean, it is made by magic..." Stacey replied: "I don´t know. Everything is possible."
"I will stay, if you treat me right.", answered the tiny snake. Both girls heard the tiny voice in there heads at the same time, and freezed instantly by surprise and shock. "That means: baby mice every three weeks, a warm place, a pool, and intelligent conversation. What do you say?" Stacey burst out.:"It is able to speak! It is speaking!" Amber was just able to nodd her head slowly, eyes wide open. The snake went on: "One important thing first: I have a name. May i introduce myself: Ssieryth." "How can it be, that you are able to speak and already have a name, if i created you with a wish this afternoon?", asked Stacey totally confused. "Why are you two so curious? Didn´t you read the skript of rules to the ring?" Both shok their heads in unison and upcoming fear. Stacey took the ring from her finger. The snake told them the rules: "It is, or better was, one of the one rings. That does not mean that there are not more than this one, but means that this ring was the home of a magic spirit. In yours, there was an old spirit of changings. But you freed it without knowing..." Amber looked sad. "Does that mean, little snake, that this ring is useless now?" "I will not stay, if you´re not polite to me! To forget to introduce yourselves can be explained by the situation. But i am no "little snake"!!! I am Ssieryth." Amber mumbled a "Forgive me, Ssieryth", and turned red. Stacey looked at the ring in her hand. Then she said: "What a pity. It was so nice!"
The snake snickered: "But she is free!" "She? It was a female Spirit?" "Yess!", replied Ssieryth. Ambers thoughts went faster than Staceys: "Then, you are the spirit of changes?" It was a funny view of the tiny snake shaking its (oops: her) head with a broad grin. "Yess! I can do nearly every magic, but if i create a new living beeing, i need a soul to put in. Otherwise, the new creation is just a dead body. To my luck, there was no near soul availiable at the time you wished the skin of a snake into a snake. So the rules allowed me to take my own. And now..." Stacey sighed: "You are free. No wishes anymore." The snake smiled again: "I wouln´t say it in this way. Just: I decide what i want and how i want and... whether you´ve been nice to me! And think on your words first! I like intelligent conversation, and i am a good interpreter if you fail to be not missunderstoodable..." She snickered again.
Amber grinned: "For your conditions, you would stay by me, didn´t you say?" The snake looked up, slithered alon her arm and climbed into her nightie. "A warm place is found!", she commented. "But there is one more point... Can you stand my kind of humor?" Ssieryth cuddled between her breast, an stroke her surprisingly with his tiny needlelike teeth. The let out a short cry. "What did you do to me?" "Thats my poison. Now your body is under my control. I can change it every time i want. Can you stand my kind of having fun???"
Amber felt a tingeling feeling rising in her...
