Curious as to just what you'd find inside, you decide to head to Japan Limited first. Its glowing neon sign, the letters "Japan Ltd." bright orange and twisted into a vaguely Asian-style font, certainly draw your eye, if nothing else.
Walking briskly over, you duck underneath a stream of beads that hangs over the small, bamboo door of the store...once again, certainly not typical for a store front.
Once inside, two things immediately stand out to you. First is the overwhelming size of the place: it's three floors, at least, with an escalator traveling up its central region to smaller substores. It's almost like a miniature mall within the mall!
The other is the overwhelming number of Japanese customers in odd costumes, some even having what had to be some sort of animatronic heads made to look like anime characters. While you expected such people in a store with a name like "Japan Limited", something still seems off to you.
In spite of your hesitation, you head up the escalator, entering one of the side shops.
