Jake had just settled down in his bedroom, sitting on the edge of his bed. He now had two sets of arms on
either side of his torso, and it just felt weird having four hands and twenty fingers! He had to constantly
look to both sides so he could see all four arms and all four of his hands.
"Holy smoke... This is so strange... Having four arms!" he said to himself, just as that weird tingling
sensation began to grow even more intense again.
Just then, he noticed his torso growing wider for some odd reason. It was like it was making room for
something else.
"Oh man! I'm getting bigger again!" he gasped, bringing all for of his hands to his face. "What's happening to
me now?"
His torso continued to stretch out farther and father, pushing his legs further apart. Jake just couldn't
understand why that was happening to him. After a few moments, he began to understand why.
Two stumps began to push out from under his groin, and they began to grow longer and longer. As they grew,
another set of ankles, knees, calves and feet began to follow from the stumps. Within moments, the stumps had
gained the same length as his legs! In fact, they had become his third and his fourth legs! One was a left
foot and the other was a right one.
"Oh my gosh!" Jake gasped when he realized what had happened. "I got four legs!"
As he stood up, he practiced walking using two sets of feet. It took him a while, and he needed to get used to
it, but eventually he got it right. He had four feet, four knees, four ankles and twenty toes.
Jake walked around the room, just to get used to having four, long and muscular legs, when his mother walked
in.
"Ohmygosh... JAKE!" she screamed, when she saw what had happened to him this time.
"Mom... I... Uhhh... I changed again!" Jake said shyly.
Not only was Jake becoming ever more muscular, but he had grown a second set of arms and now he had a second
set of legs as well!
"Jake! When... When are you gonna stop changing?" his mother cried out. "This is crazy!"
"Mom... I don't know! I really don't!"
Jake just gulped. He had no idea what that contaminated river water would do to him next...
