At his office on the other side of town Mitch was putting the finishing touches on his presentation before heading to the meeting with management. He started reviewwing it, and he started to realize he hadn't a clue what he was reading! He didn't understand a lot of the longer words, and he had no idea what the presentation was even about.
He started to feel a pain in his head, like someone was gripping his brain and squeezing it, all the knowledge was dripping away. Mitch groaned and clutched his head in pain, and decided to go to the bathroom.
Wen he got there he went straight to the toilet and threw up. His head started to feel a little more clear, but he couldn't think straight. He didn't know where he was, or why he was here.
Mitch looked in the mirror, where his face had changed without him noticing. His jawline was thicker, and he had a few days of stubble on his face. His hair was now a buzzcut, there was nothing there. "Heh," he thought "Great haircut, only cost me a couple a bucks at Bargain Lee's too". "Wait, what? Where the hell is that?" Mitch was confused, part of him remembered going to the shop and getting his hair buzzed, another part had no idea where in the world Bargain Lee's was.
He felt a shiver go down his spine, followed by an intense heat. He quickly unbuttoned his suit, revealing his dress shirt. The dress shirt started to feel slimy and wet. It turned completely grey and the material became a basic cotton. Big sweat stains appeared on it. The new Mitch thought "Of course, my only shirt! I always wear it.", while the old Mitch was mortified at wearing such a 'disgusting' piece of clothing.
The two sides of his suit started to pull together, fusing in the middle. The buttons popped off and disappeared as soon as they hit the floor with a "pop!". Like his old dress shirt, the material changed into a cheap cotton. It started to thicken, and a large pouch formed in the front. It felt nice, warm, and confortable, but Mitch felt something was missing. As if on cue, a thick hood with a white, thick, fluffy interior grew out from the back. The new hoodie started to soil, from months of use, a hole appeared in the left cuff.
Mitch's pants were next to change. The dress pants he was wearing became a light blue, and the knee area became soiled with dirt, a brownish color. The material changed to denim, from the fine cloth it once was. They started to squirm halfway down his ass, and widen a bit. Mitch pulled them back up, but they slid right back down to where they were before, they were too big for him.
Mitch looked at his feet, he was now only wearing socks. His shoes had disappeared among the changes. The fine, black dress socks changed color to grey, and became thicker, a hole emerged around his big toe on his right foot. "Man, I got to steal me a pair of shoes..." thought the new Mitch, and for a moment the old Mitch found himself agreeing. "Yeah, maybe som- wait! Steal?" Mitch;s morals were changing. Living on the street for so long made him have more of a negative outlook on life. He would lie, cheat, or steal if he had to. Anything to survive. The Old Mitch started to fade away, being replaced with the new street dwelling Mitch.
He looked around and sighed. He had to go back outside now from the public bathroom in the office building. Life on the streets wasn't easy.
