The forest is quiet, wide and similar all over. You soon find yourself lost. You take a look around, but all
the trees are the same to you: they all have long, spidery branches, which reach out far above you, criss-
crossing the sky and blocking the sun with their dense foliage. You sigh and turn around, and then spin back
around. It's one thing getting lost; it's another getting lost trying to find your way back. You might as well
try get to where you wanted to go in the first place: the hidden lake.
You had heard stories of such a lake in the very forest, which you find yourself in, stories of a strange
treasure, matched by none in power and awe. You aren't entirely sure of what it is, because many ideas
conflict about that point, but you know that you'll find it. You begin to take a step forward, but stop when
you hear a slight crackling noise, like twigs snapping underfoot. And your feet aren't moving.
You turn immediately, hands ready, but almost fall over when you see a person right in front of you. She's a
little bit shorter than you, and not too skinny. Her brown hair is streaked with random lines of purple, and
it reaches her mid back. Her dark brown eyes contained just a glint of purple hidden deep within them, and she
wears a pair of dungarees combined with a skirt, and a black and red striped jumper. Her legs are covered with
a pair of tights, and she is wearing small black shoes, without a pattern on them. She beams at you.
"Hiya!" She giggles mischievously. She offers her hand to you. "Whatcha doing in the forest? Are you lost?
Because I bet you are. Looking for the lake, huh? Yeah… Lots of people do that, and lots of them get lost.
Most of them never find me though. I can help you find the lake. Just take my hand and come with me!"
She seems quite friendly, but you know you can't trust anything. You look at her and think.
