You sit there, listening to her talk about the Order and how they want to find you, but you take none of it
in. You can only think of trying to get out of this stupid body. After a long while, Naeima comes back with a
hefty tome, covered in dust and creased with age. She pulls back the green leather cover and begins to turn
the ancient pages, grabbing your attention once more.
"This is the Book of Spells. Yes, I know, it's clichéd now, but it wasn't at the time. Remember: everything
was only just happening for the first time then." She explained needlessly. If you could speak to her, you
would have told her to hurry up, but all that came out were tiny rodent squeaks, and she didn't seem to be
able to understand them.
"Somewhere in here should be a spell to get you back to normal, although it can be risky. I've never undone a
magic of the Lake before…" She turned a page with a purple-nailed hand, delicately shifting the yellowed
pages. "Aha! Here we are: A Guide to the Lake. Just bear with me a moment; I've got to see if there's anything
useful in here." She sighed, running a pale finger down the page as you irritably tapped your miniscule foot.
Your tiny eyes wander again, but the room hasn't changed. It somehow frustrates you to wait, even though it's
really not that long. You feel your tail twitching impatiently, which does nothing for your mood. You watch
the strange girl's eyes move about the page, the purple glinting within the shining brown. If she wasn't your
only way out of here, you feel you would have bitten her violently by now. You clench you furry fists and
wait. Finally, she smiles and looks at you.
"You ready for this?" She asks, her red lips parting gently. You nod your head vigorously and even try to
shout 'yes'. She notes your enthusiasm and nods too, her thick purple hair tumbling about her head. "OK. I'll
put you on the floor. It'll be easier." In one swift movement, she picks you up and places you on the ground
softly. As she stretches her fingers in preparation for the spell, she winks at you mischievously, and you
suddenly realise you have no idea what she's going to do.
