After four succesful seasons, Chris Mclean was finally brought to court on many accounts, naturally he asked
Chef to be his lawyer, since he was to cheap to actually hire one, and beside he thought he had the trial in
the bag.
"All standing for honourable Judge Judith, in the case of The Total Drama Contestants Cast vs Chris Mclean."
"You may sit."
"Your honor." began Chef. "We will like the case to be dismissed, in lieu that my client is in no way legally
liable, here I have the contracts and release forms signed by everyone of the contestants. He he."
The prosecutor replied "Your honor, I would make a case out of it, but my student here would like to do the
honors."
Chris saw surprised that Courtney was going to be his prosecutor. "Thanks Mr. Simmons, Judge Judith... hi
Chris." said with a grin. "Judge, I will like to make a case by proving that this contracts are in serious
offense of the laws, thus making them Void. Furthermore if those contracts are void ab initio, then there's
nothing saving Mclean from liability and thus the sue for compensation may proceed."
"Mmm... Chef. Am I in trouble?" whispered Chris at Chef.
"How the heck I'm suppose to know? You gave this robe and wig and called me your legal department, so you
could use the money for that golden tanning booth!"
The prosecution began to call witness, Chris to court.
"Isn't it truth that you exposed the contestants to recklessly dangerous situations, on purpose?"
"Nope. I always make sure to test them."
"Really? Your honor, evidence A, the medical records of the interns in charge of those test runs. Despite that alleged testing, contestants have resulted injure right?"
"I don't recall."
"Evidence B footage from the show, where Owen's jaw was broken, Trent is poisoned, Cody is bear-mauled, among
ludicrous use of wild animals, and explosives, and launching people out of planes".
"Special effects."
"I didn't want to do this... Ok, I did, Here are Environmental Report of Mclean's Island, along with the worst
cases of negligence: Ezekiel's animal regression, Alejandro's disfigurement, Blaineley's full-body injuries,
Dakota's mutation and Scott being put in a life support unit, not to mention the allegation of a missing
construction team and interns in Mclean's property."
"Again, all in contract and with proper release forms."
"As the final nail in Mclean's coffin. The release forms are signed by legally minors and the contracts are
legally void if not by all the obvious negligence, by the fact that no contestant has actually won the million
dollars prize."
"What?"
"Here and I quote: "...this contract hereby allow the subject known as the contestant to become legibly between his/her peers to become the sole creditor for the program prize money..."."
"So what? (Gwen/Owen), (Beth/Duncan), (Heather/Alejandro) and (Lighting/Cameron) won their Total Dramas. That
the money was lost."
"Yes they won the contest, but they never receive the prize money. Therefore they didn't became the sole
creditor, therefore rendering the contracts themselves null and void, therefore making you Chris Mclean liable
for all injuries, physical and psychological the 38 contestants suffered. Your witness." said Courtney
returning to the bench.
Chef got up and simply said, "Ehm... yeah... Mr. Mclean would you be so kind to tell the court your full
name."
"Objection." said Chris.
"He can't do that, the prosecution has no objection." retorted Courtney.
"Fine. ... <mumble>"
"What?"
"Chris... <mumble> Mac...<mumble>."
"Christabella Machintosh!"
"The defense rest your honor."
"What?! You..."
"Mr. Mclean step down please... in lieu of the evidence I have no choice but to find the defendant..."
