"You'll be sorry!" Kyle said back "Today's your 16th birthday, right? Well now since it's Leap
Day, it'll be your 4th! You'll be 4 in looks and sound, but you'll still remember everything,
and your clothes will shrink to fit. It'll be the same with everyone else who was born on
Leap Day, becoming what should be their real age, including your boyfriend - since he
shares your birthday, he'll be 4 too. No one but you, me, and him will think anything is
weird. Happy Birthday, Jen!"
With that, she became 4, with her clothes shrinking to fit, and her backpack too.
Her mom got her on the bus, after telling her that even though she was 4, she was as
smart as 16.
She sat next to her boyfriend, also 4, and just as nervous as her.
This would be a very interesting day!
