Ty started to blink, but the lights flickered and the computer he was linked to exploded. But before it
exploded Ty saw the room get fuzzy and fade. When the blinding light cleared Ty was still a brain in a jar but
he seemed to have been transported to some sort of Medieval castle. The room was empty of people, but there was
a large circle in the middle of the room with arcane symbols. It looked sort of familiar.
Meanwhile, the doctor was having a fit. Her Nobel prize winning experiment had apparently vaporized when her
computer exploded. Damn, cheap surge protector. Wait there was no shattered or molten glass or roasted pieces
of brain. Someone had stolen Ty! She had to get it back.
Ty noticed that he seemed to be normal size for a brain at least relative to the skull on the shelf next to him.
He wasn't sure it was a real skull. It looked more like a carved caricature of one.
Just then there was a flash of light a kid appeared dressed like a wizard.
Of course, Ty recognized this room. It was from the game Wizard 101. Somehow he had been uploaded into the
game. Brains in jars were prizes, and decorating items in the game. It sort of made sense. He wasn't sure,
but he figured if he could get uploaded, he could get downloaded, and maybe there'd be someway to get a body out
of this.
Oh, oh, the computerized villains just materialized. Hm, maybe he could hijack one of those for his avatar?
