His momentary experimentation with his abilities a total success, Ty turned around and left the comatose giraffe woman lying on her bed sleeping soundly. Ty chuckled as he shut the door behind him, picturing the gorgeously weird creature snoozing in that pink girly bedroom. For now, there were other problems to attend to. And they were mostly called June.
As Ty walked the upstairs hallway he willed himself to revert to his original size and age. It felt somewhat disheartening to lose his strong grown up body, but this was who he really was. Adjusting the size of his clothes to fit, he leaned around the banister and stared down into the kitchen. No June.
He crept down the stairs slowly and peered across the kitchen into the living room. Predictably, June was sitting on the couch with a wine glass in her hand, sipping it greedily and staring at some idiotic reality show. Jersey Shore? Teen Mom? Ty had no idea. Either way, June was totally unaware and ripe for the changing.
"First things first." Ty took a deep breath. "I want to be invisible to June. But not actually invisible. She won't see, smell, hear, feel, or sense me in any way."
To test this out, Ty walked confidently across the kitchen and stood in front of the TV dramatically, his hands on his hips and purpose on his face.
"Mother!" Ty said sternly. "I hate you!"
June simply kept staring in the direction of the TV, drinking more wine.
"Wow." Ty laughed. "Okay, this is kind of cool." He walked up and pinched June's nose. She sniffed, but paid it no mind. Laughing, Ty sat down on the couch next to her and pulled her ear sharply.
"Ow!" June said in annoyance, looking around for her unseen assailant. "That's... odd." She resumed watching TV, though nervously glancing around from time to time.
"Only one way to be really really sure." Ty smirked playfully, and slipped his hand under his tyrannical step mom's shirt. He had always wondered her ample chest. And with a few quick gropes he found out her boobs were actually real.
June stared down in alarm but to her vision she couldn't see the hand working under the fabric of her shirt or feel Ty groping her breasts. All she felt was a strange tingling on her chest. Suddenly it stopped, and she sighed. "I need a new bra. This one is rubbing me the wrong way." Once again she looked back to the TV.
"Okay. Enough of that." Ty nodded, clapping his hands and wringing them together. "Obviously I really can do what I want. It's time to get to work."
