So there Dan stood looking at a huge metal sphere with nearly century old transformation
technology.
What that meant was that a modern kid well versed in 2012 hi tech gadgets
knew nothing about the Telsa Spark Magneto valves, boiler valves and iron levers
that sprouted all over the Chronovac PRO.
So he must have done something wrong that any 1917 kid would have avoided.
Maybe he tightened the pressure relief valve too much, maybe he was unaquainted
with anything other then digital readouts.
Whatever it was,the Chronovac responded to the input command which told it to
stick to the "Default" prime species that the phantoplasm gas came with.
So it was that Dan entered the pressure sphere, scratching his head and wondering
where to place his pet lizard ( still patiently waiting in its glass cage in the den)
when the hatch clanged shut and the Tesla Magnetos began spinning and the Model T engine
clattered to life and the chain driven pump
pumped phantoplasm into the sealed chamber
Nine hours of frantic pounding on Dan's part did nothing but bruise his fists.
However at 99 atmospheres, the phantoplasm gas deadened the pain Dan would
normally have felt.
Meanwhile the Model T engine clattered back into life 8 hours on and pumped
the gas back into the reservoir. Then the hatch popped open and Dan stepped
into his engine exhaust reeking bedroom...
