For the rest of the day, she had made phone calls to psychiatric and medical doctors to try to figure out what
had happened to Billy. She even wanted to call his parents but Billy growled at the idea of involving his
father, he may be a dog, but he will maintain his vow. All clinics treat her like she was pranking them and
quickly hung up on her.
She sighed as it was late, by now Billy was down to nothing, walking around in all fours in the buff, she felt
it was easier for him to at least use the bathroom alone, and it wasn't like she hadn't seen him naked. Steph
considered what to do, but it was late and she headed to bed, his boyfriend following her on tow.
The next morning she was in the shower shampooing Billy, and giving him a bath like the dog he was acting as,
when the phone rang. She stepped out of the bath, with a towel around herself and answer the phone.
"Hello?"
"Oh, Hi Steph, this is Dick, Billy's brother. Listen I need to talk to him right now, it's urgent!"
"Oh... he is... eh... in the shower, I'll tell him to call you back." tried Steph to cut the call short.
"That's bull and you know it, he doesn't want to hear from the family, but please tell him that this is...
about me, I'm scared out of my mind."
"I see... but it's just that... Dick, does your family has a history of mental illness?"
"What? No... no that I heard... why?"
"It's just. Please you have to tell me the truth, I'm on my last nerve here, yesterday your brother simply
started acting like a dog, and I don't think he is acting, and I don't know what to do anymore." said Steph
breaking into tears.
"A dog? What..." suddenly Dick felt silent.
"Dick? Dick?" called Steph.
"Steph... do you happen to know which sign is Bill?"
"Scorpio... but..."
"Not that one, the other the chinese one."
"The dog I think..."
"Son of a... listen Steph, please hang on. I need to make another call. I'll contact you as soon as possible."
