You find that as much as you may want to fight them off, you can
barely control this new body yet. So, you comply for now. You slowly
step into the truck and try desperately to think up a plan. You know
what's going to happen, and your horse mind is perfectly happy with
it. Even the last vestiges of your human mind knows this is better
than what else could happen to a horse. Still, you also know you need
to get home, and you can tell time is running out.
It feels like you're in the truck for two hours, but you spend it
trying desperately to hold onto the humanity in your mind. When the
truck finally stops, you step off and feel quite dizzy. You are at a
farm, as expected.
"Well now, let's get you started," Jeb says as he walks you out. "No
time like the present!" He leads you over to the stables, and stops
you in front of one of the few mares still present; the others, you
figure, are out being ridden or something. "Now, get busy!" he says,
as he closes the stable door. Do you really want to do this? It's do
or die time.
