Near the conclusion of breakfast, Denise looked at the clock and groaned. Drake decided to ask what was up.
"Something wrong, sis?" "Not that you would understand but I'm going to school soon."
"I thought you enjoyed school?"
"As if, I only go there because all my friends are there. My friends are the problem though."
"You could suggest to them that they go goth too." Drake suggested.
"Yeah right, it would take a miracle for that to happen; later twerp." Denise said as she got up from the table to get her stuff from her room.
"I should get going too." Drake's mother said getting up from the table.
"You don't seem in a better mood than her." Drake noticed.
"It's my coworkers, no matter how nice I treat them, they just don't like me and I don't know why."
"Maybe it's because you get more customers than they do." Drake suggested.
"Why would that be?" "Because they think you're like some kind of fashion model." Rose overlooked her body for a moment.
"What's wrong if a woman keeps a good figure; well at any rate, I must be going." Rose said as she too went to get what she needed for work.
"I want to help them but who should I help out first?" Drake asked himself.
