Despite the small talks, I must’ve done something right because Marylyn wanted me to come inside her house, so
I decided to take up on her invitation and besides, it’ll be rude of me if I refuse. As I entered her house, I
was hoping the bare essentials because of the location. But her house is nice and big complete with an alarm
system in which she quickly deactivates “Well David, what do you think of the place?” She says I looked around
“Nice, surprising that it’s in the middle of nowhere.”
Marylyn smiles “Sometimes, I like my privacy, but I usually miss someone to talk to other times.”
“Is that why you invited me in?” I asked, Marylyn just smiles “No, I heard that you have a fantasy.” This got
my attention “Oh?” Marylyn says “What I heard, not only you wanted to see live werewolves, but be one too.”
This is a surprise to me, she’s right but I told that to my friend, Nate. It’s supposed to be a secret. How
could he reveal it to Marylyn? “Yes, it’s true Marylyn, but why are you telling me this?” Marylyn smiles
“Because I can turn it into reality.”
I looked at Marylyn puzzled, “You’re a werewolf? Is this a joke?”
Marylyn just smiles, but her eyes changed color, before they were brown. Now they are luminescent yellow. “I
assure you, I’m not joking.”
This made me a little nervous, “Why me?”
Marylyn says “Two things, it’s about time that I look for a mate, and the pack alpha encourages us to expand
the pack, he’ll be here shortly to meet you and you’ll soon be reborn.”
I read enough werewolf lore to know that when someone is willingly changed to a werewolf, it’s called reborn.
That means I’ll soon have brute strength, heightened senses and never be sick again, but the downside is that
I may loose control when I change, pure wolf instinct. I don’t know if I’m more excited or scared. There’s a
