The assembled guys in the bathroom all looked around at each other, trying to ignore the moaning sounds coming from the next room. Occasionally somebody would try the door and growl something, then give up and walk away. The smell of fear in the small bathroom was becoming too much.
Breaking the silence at last a voice spoke up.
"Hey guys. I'm Matt. Um... I think we need a plan here. We have all been pretty freaked out but now that I'm calming down I think we need to be rational here. Let's think about this a minute."
"Yea. Yea that's a good idea. Can we start with the fact that there is a window there behind the shower curtain?" a guy with dark hair stood up and walked over to the bathtub. A few boys were huddled in it, and looked at him with wide eyes when he drew back the curtain. They were still terrified but like the others, their fear was slowly calming.
"You can call me Tom. So... first thing's first." Tom said as he laid his hands on the window and pushed it up. The cool air of the night came in, refreshing and clearing his head more. He looked out across the back yard, they were two stories up. Jumping down would get them a broken leg if they didn't do it right. He frowned seeing shapes moving around outside as well.
"They are out there. I see them in the bushes and stuff. Big dudes with red speedos on. Even if we hang from the ledge and drop the last 8 feet or so, we'll just get grabbed unless you think you can outrun a supernaturally fit werewolf-waterpolo player guy." Tom said turning to face Matt and the others.
"That's interesting though. We need to think about this more. Like, why are they acting like wolves, like bad TV werewolves with the growling and the leaping and biting? I haven't seen any with actual animal features. Plus, what is the deal with the speedos? They bite you, and you turn in to a muscle beast waterpolo player like you said. But, why does your underwear turn in to a red speedo, just so that when you get all lusty and horny like they are... they just pull it down." Matt said. He was looking at the floor, staring at his own shoes as he spoke.
"Hey. I was thinking... Oh I'm Nathan by the way. I was thinking." said the nerd with the thick black glasses and the short cropped mohawk. Clearly a hipster kind of kid. "What if that's the link, they aren't were wolves. They are were-gays or something, that's all the bite does is turn them in to a stereotype just like all the old movie monsters. They are all just stupid stereotypes. So what is the weakness here? Can we exploit that and get free?"
Matt looked up and their eyes met. He could tell this guy was intelligent and not just pretending to be. "Yea that makes sense. So... how do we turn them back, or if not can we repel them or something?"
"...or kill them." said a voice from the bathtub.
"No! Those are your friends. My friends. They are different now but we aren't killing them. We can cure them or find an antidote or something. Anybody have any silver?"
"... is anybody here a girl?" said the same voice from the tub.
"Hey wait a minute. That makes sense. Nobody I have seen out there that was bitten or attacked was female. Maybe that's the trick. We need to test that. Shit. It's a sausage fest in here. Where are the girls?" Nathan says looking around the room. There had been girls at the party before, but during the chaos he didn't remember seeing where they had fled.
