She left some blanks which the Chronivac filled in unexpectedly

Megan had specified Willie's age, and had simply assumed he would regress to his former 7 year old self, but
she also entered that as relationship he was her son. Already his DNA was shifting, Willie's mitochondria from
his mother were being replaced by copies of Megan's mitochondria. The Chronivac began scanning the vicinity
for a suitable male donor to be young Wille's father. It had begun rewriting the timeline of Willie and Megan,
and there would be more changes of which only Megan would be aware.

The Chronivac selected the male DNA contributor and Willie noticed that the hairs on his arm looked different.

• Willie's dad is now the 21 year old next door -he was 13 when he fathered Willie
• A trucker driving down the road is caught by the Chronivac's scan
• Willie doesn't change much, but his kid brother Jimmy is now his dad
