Sei looked up at Mike, "This must be worth something?"
"I don't know why but it looks like a piece from a big Chess set!" replied Mike as his hand rubbed over the very well carved figure.
Sei bent down and looked into the safe. Reaching in his fingers picked up a small thin booklet. As candles flickered he opened the booklet to see rows of names, dates, and happenings.
Sitting on his flat butt Sei read the booklet aloud. Homer Rakin, Feb.28,1752, blessed with wealth. Scot Andrews, July 2, 1802, Billied curse. Martin Foley, September 28, 1852, lived 100 years. Frank Wheats, March 14,1902, All the beer he wanted. November 7, 1952, Kenneth Leroy, Made a Duke. _________________August 9, 2002, ___
