Day 4. They’re on to me. Mark is one of them, I know it. He still looks the same though, they’re trying to
trick me but they have no idea, I’m smarter than them. I’ve seen him following me around the school, stalking
me, always hanging back behind a corner. Whenever I go he’s behind me, I can see him watching me out of the
corner of my eye. Staring, always staring into me with that hard look. What’s he thinking? Is he waiting
until I’m alone to induct me too? Robert, Evan, Josh, am I next? I won’t let them get me. I wish I had more
people to talk to, but I only have you guys, I lose another friend by the day. I saw Josh again today too… We
talked, a little, he’s so different now. We walked around talking about music, its all Wiz, Cudi and the like
for him now it seems. Eventually I couldn’t take it anymore so I went back to my dorm to IM with some people.
I got in a chat with my friend Kyle and, well its probably better to just show you. Kyle is the openly gay
guy I really talk to, he’s decent enough so I put up with it. But I’ve never really understood it, he’s got a
million hot girls following him around, loving his company and won’t turn for any of them. Kind of a weedy
guy too, not like the kind of weed Josh recently got into, he’s never touched a weight and he’s got to be over
6 foot so it just looks even weirder.

StepUpLuvR31 (Kyle): sure, AIM is so outdated…
At first Kyle was mostly himself but as you can see, just the more we chatted he changed. I had to see for
myself, maybe it was denial, maybe it was morbid curiosity but I waited for Skype to load up. I was partially
surprised. His face still looked the same, at first. As we talked his pencil thin eyebrows gradually
thickened a little. His face filling my screen it was easily noticed. I could see every feature changing as
his round race started to sharpen, his cheek bones raising a little higher, his jaw line becoming a little
more squared off and hard. I could even see the first few blond hairs grow on his developing chin. His mouth
twitched a little as if itching to smile. His black, flowing long hair began to pale from the tips as it
retracts further becoming a shorter, ‘cooler’ hair cut. The waving blond hair vanished as he produced a hat
and put it into place as if an instinct. I could actually see his intelligence turn to stupidity just by
looking at his eyes. They glowed a brilliant but empty blue and his skin developed a healthy tan. Every part
of his face lost all traces of his former life, tightening, becoming more masculine and imposing. His solemn
expression twisted into a cocky smirk and he mindlessly flexed his suddenly massive arms as we chatted, not
caring that I could see. His shirt merely vanished and exposed some of his developed chest. Before I could
say much more he made some vague comment about needing to prepare for the big day Friday and with a last wink
he signed off. I knew he was probably finishing his change into a bro somewhere in his room not too far away.
It was depressing to say the least. It seemed everyone I reached out to became a target. How did they know?
How were they changing my friends? I didn’t even see a catalyst this time. Was Mark responsible? I’ll go
with that theory for now. But I’m tired, I should go. Signing out, thank you Cyoc for listening again.
