Now Rick must have had a subconcious hatred for that viper on the Platform,and possibly dragons in general,because
he'd failed to set any limits on the computer as to how many times the transformations
would occur before the system aborted or shut down.
He'd figured a mindless snake wouldn't feel a thing,so had told the system to keep
repeating the cycle till it ran out of dimensions and species to explore.Which Ricks
theoretical calculations had shown,could be a never ending,ever expanding set of data.
So after he'd turned into his old college prank alter ego the big green winged
dragon,he'd hoped and prayed the system or the theory would let him off the hook.
He'd lain coiled up,in dreaded anticipation,for three hours.
The transformation had started first,then the beginnings of the dimension jump caused by his
transformation into a dragon from another dimension,thus Brendan had burst in.
The transformation had been a living hell as Ricks serpent spine lengthened,his legs
were absorbed back into his lengthening stretching out serpent self and he'd been too busy
struggling with the need to be a 100 foot silver scaled snake to pay
attention to Brendan,who just stood there gawking at the new Rick.
The changes completed themselves and the coiled over and over big serpent tried to smile,since it
still had thoughts rather then dim witted snake insticts.
The Beast from Dimension 4319 looked out the bedroom window with reptillian eyes and could
see that as predicted,having a alien serpent on Prime Earth was causing a bit of dimension
vomiting to occur.Rick could feel the energies flowing through his scales as his home dimension
rejecting him and booted him elsewhere.
Outside the curtain of sparks,the Earth scene was fading away,to be replaced by something else.
Rick the Serpent then realized if Brendan didn't bail out now the teen would get dragged along for the ride.
So the serpent swung its head over,seized Brendan in its big snakey jaws and threw
the teen through the glass window and onto the porch roof outside.
In a hissing sibilance,it said
"run through the curtain before its too late.tell Tabitha I love her"
Alas Brendan just sat there on the porch roof,staring back.
The Beast would have slithered through the window ,grabbed Brendan and
flung him through the curtain of sparks,but it was a tiny window and Rick was a
very big snake.
So it was with a lurching sliding sensation in his scales that Rick
felt his world expell him,and then the sucking greedy sensation as Dimension 4319
welcomed its wayward citizen back to where it belonged,with others of its kind.
Back on Earth Prime,Rick,Brendan,the viper,the special laboratory and the house
over it all vanished,to reappear in the Lad of the Silver Serpents...
